Mods will be tested on a different server before rolling them out. So if you request a mod, please be patient, we need first to test them on the test server and to our mods for compatibility. This reduces a downtime for the public server.
You don't need to ask for privs, please take care of the following steps.
In order to play at our server, you need to have a valid registered account at our board
The registered nick is the given ingame nick for the game, so please be carefully while registering
We send you a activation link to activate your board account, which will be used to give you automated interact privs to our server
Your ready to play - we wish you fun.
Disclaimer: we do apologize if you feel drained to register on our board. But we still care about the builds of our players. Our server does not have any land protection mod active to restrict griefing or take overs. We publish a server for less to anyone who is interested to settle and build up. Having this state of the art gameplay gives you much more interactivity with other players (node protection wont allow to build close each other).

We have recognised the rimeout issue here, which doenst belongs to the connection.
Currently the server runs at a 10Mbit connection with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. We think its more a game habbit, that the people who trys to connect times out.
Were going to investigate this and we'll keep you noticed of the timeout thing.
Maybe it's just that people press escape at the loading page...
First connection is always a bit long and a lot of people are impatient.
It seems doing this doesn't close correctly the connection, so players that are on the server see a read timeout.

Thanks for your input! ... We also noticed, that this *feature* ;-) more common with windows clients. Using a ubuntu client does not serve that much timeouts, --- almost?

its possible to remove the default doors and the doorsplus mod?
because the xDoors² mod wont work.

ok, as requested we removed the mods : doors, doorsplus and kept xdoors2 in place. hope that solves the problem, all doors needed to replace due "unknown objects".
Feedback is highly appreciated to get things smoother.
