Mods

by RockerGirl4Eva » Post

Okay I am relitivley new to this, and I was wondering what is the correct way to install mods? I click the download link provided on whichever Mod, save it, then open it, I then drag the Mod folder into Minecrafts 'mod' folder. But nothing seems to change...am I doing somthing wrong? Would someone please explain the correct way to download/get the mods?

Preferably you unzip/extract the mods directly into a folder like this (Linux):

/home/TOPYWO/celeron55-minetest-25cf375/mods/minetest

There's a txt-file called "mods_here.txt" in it

edit:typo + Sometimes you need to rename the modfolder-name to the same name you often see in front of the ":" in the init.lua

Your mod name was probably:

VanessaE-homedecor-a7a2e11 --> you need to change it in homedecor

As far as I understood it was in the right place.

Good luck!
