request

junglegrass and jungletree should spawn, as they are default nodes but there is no way to get them into the game without a mod

I think that is_ground_content and legacy_mineral, as well as any other legacy code should be removed. It makes for much better example code without it there, and people often start looking at their first lua/minetest code in the default mod.

I kept the legacy_facedir and legacy_wallmounted because of converting old maps.

I would prefer if you could open doors normally and wouldn't need a specific tool to open them (when i'm building, my inv is usually full of blocks and a pickaxe) because they don't take long to dig. I don't know much about the LUA, but you could add a list of "exceptions" from the immediate dig from doors, doorsplus, xdoors2 (both versions), locked door (if it still works) and homedecor. Those are just the doors i can think of, to save you from hunting for them.

If you are in creative mode, you have the permission to fly (in most cases). Also if you punch the door with any (default) tool it will open.
Excpetions are not possible here.

OK, i've just removed that part then and used an admin pickaxe instead though. Apart from that (and a couple other things that are just preference) this is a good minetest_game.
