[Mod] 2012-12-21 -- End of The World [12212012]

We all know the world is not going to end tomorrow ( or today for those of you on the other side of the globe from me ), but you can live the apocalypse in minetest with this mod. Lets say there is lots of lava, fire, and the ground opening up. This will destroy your map... so run this on a backup... and it may lag a server so bad it's not playable... I haven't ran it on a server.

Depends: default, fire

It's just a couple of ABMs, one changes stone or gravel to lava, another one makes dirt, grass, and sand disappear, and another is supposed to set trees on fire but I've not seen that one actually work. Seems ABMs are hard to tune, some maps were destroyed pretty quickly while other ones the maps just slowly decays.

This mods slowly makes nodes disappear and lava appear. Also trees and papyrus are meant to get on fire.

To speed things up, change the interval and chance in the init.lua to lower values. For example 10 and 4 to see a quick result.

To make fire work copy this over the fire.on_flame line:
-- fire.on_flame_add_at(pos)
minetest.env:set_node(pos,{name="fire:basic_flame"})



Edit:To fit it more in with the recent minetest_game, grass, papyrus and jungletree could also be added as flamable.
