I just downloaded Minetest about 10 minutes ago, and when I click the "New" button on Single-player, it shows me a screen with options to set the type of world and the name. I select the normal Minetest type, I type in "startworld" as the World's name, then I click "Create", and it sends me back to Main Menu, where there aren't any worlds in the list.
I'm sure I look like an idiot noob for asking this...
...But I don't want to set up a PayPal account to pay the $27 to get Minecraft. So, I'm stuck.
Help?
go into folder minetest\worlds if it is not in there then there might be a problem. if it is the you have created a worlb but cant acces it. what is your os and also try creating a new world again.

Well...
...I'm running W7 and I've tried creating many worlds, rebooting my computer, rebooting the program, etc. But, I'll go see if it's in the worlds folder. =/
...
FYI: That's not really very helpful, because I can't seem to find "Minetest\Worlds"!
Or should I just give up on the game? I don't think so, but is it fun, or is it skull-smashing boring like Blockheads?
