Its a private Dropbox link that only works for people logged into your account, its the easiest to just upload it to imgur.com or to put it in your Public in your Dropbox

You don't need an imgur account to upload an image

Grow a jungletree there. That usually helps with lighting problems.

The jungletree didn't help, so I used lava. Now I need a new house :(

I decided not to rebuild the house and make it look like a real ruin:

I have found that if there is a weird lighting bug (i.e. darkness) placing a torch will clear it up. Sometimes lava will leave blackness and when I place a torch it lights up the area and when I take the torch away, the blackness doesn't return.

Also, for those who don't know already, here is how to use the map seed I gave you.
Just put the below code in the minetest.conf:

Code: Select all

fixed_map_seed = seed
Replace "seed" with whatever seed is given. Also, remove that from your minetest.conf once you are done using the seed, otherwise the map will generate the same way every time.

Surprising how much that changes the look of the game. Grass landscapes must be even more dramatic.

Yes, it feels very different too. During the first tests I almost thought I was playing Natural Fawn Killers.

It's not really playable and I'm not sure if it ever will be. I just love to test what's possible to do.
Anyway, playable or not, I'll upload the mod when it runs smoother (too many abm's :D).
