I've noticed the number of mods I can contribute to has decreased. I'm sticking with Github. Even though I don't like MS

I think the DMs are way too powerful IMO Their fire rate needs to be decreased a lot. Also: are they supposed to float down from the sky?
I've noticed the number of mods I can contribute to has decreased. I'm sticking with Github. Even though I don't like MS

actually, i had fixed this bug in the 1.1, but i lost the code of the explosions... which result in total crash. I can't upload it then.

Well i'd love to. But as I said I don't have enough time to program. Also, my computer (window$) has issues with many things for no reason... So it slows me in my developpement. Sorry!

Due to the before-mentioned issue of DM's raining from the skys, ive found the only safe place to live is underground, this puts quite a nice twist on gameplay, and makes you rethink your normal strategy, when i spawned in i quikly grabbed some wood and after dieing countless times, found myself a way to beneath the surface, after that i busied myself settling into my new home, its been a really positive experience, i hope you find the time to work more on this mob-pack soon!

That's kind of a nice way to live. A bit too shady for me though. I've stopped working on this to be honest, the minetest API is incomplete (callbacks are really an horror) and I'll wait the 0.5.0 to come out to really work on this again. For example, I can't make mob drop things correctly. I didn't manage to make a block breaking explosion system. However I managed to make the dungeon gardians far less powerful ;) Oh and by the way, I really suck at making mob spawn. I was thinking about what to do of my next 5 minutes, I think I'll code MILA again! Thank you Stix, we need more community members like you!

New Update ! New stuff! New fun!


Thanks to Stix Lone_Wolf and others, a new update has now came: Mila 1.3!

Featuring a working explosion system and far more balanced mobs. The code was cleaned and a lot of minor bugs (that happened in some weird conditions) where deleted. Hope you enjoy! (1st post will be updated)

Anything new with this mod? I recommend putting this in GitHub for better community involvement.

I like the new additions! one thing though: could you add an option to change the size of the blast radius? atm its like a creeper hole :3 (btw i like how evil steve looks like a zombie :P). Also i love the thingys skeletons shoot at you, the shots will target track you for a few secs than blow up :3. i kinda liked DMs falling from the sky sometimes, so i have mila 1.0 and mila 1.3, #classic.

Well it's defined by the mob code. I will nerf them a bit !

I was sure you would love it!

i kinda liked DMs falling from the sky sometimes, so i have mila 1.0 and mila 1.3, #classic.

Is the API of your mod much better than Mobs Redo API? I just want to compare them.

Could you change the DM texture to the traditional brown one? (or even the white one). and i think it would be cool if lavaballs had trails of particles behind them :3 (like fire partices).

*EDIT: maybe look at simple-mobs for animation code? it looks simple, it just takes an animation and puts it in an endless loop.

No. Absolutly not. Just for the simple reason that mob redo has a much more competent and experienced (and motivated) dev, it has a lot of contributors, a lot of users who help the project and mod redo is far older than MILA. But they doesn't have heat-seeking missiles ;D

Yep. i'll do. it's just the API doesn't really discribe how to use all of this.
