It seems like people still use my outdated swords_plus mod...
but it's unbalanced, and has somewhat ugly textures...

So I made a new mod, to replace the old one:

the Extra mele weapons mod

It adds 43 new mele weapons, mostly craftable out of materials, found in mods that are in MT by default, and some craftable out of moreores metals.
including: knife, dagger, karambit, katana, spear, scimitar, nunchucks, trident, lightsabers and more

MT version 0.4.16
Main Depends: (none really, but some crafting recipies need: wool, bucket, dye, farming)
Optional Depends (There's a few weapons that require moreores, but not having moreores, will only make those weapons unavailable, but keep the rest of the mod fully usable)

Looks really nice! Would you add optional crafting dependencies for moreores and minerdream?
What is SCP-055 again? I forgot.

Moreores might get some craftung recipes, but minerdream wont, cause minerdream is going to have tons of mele weapons at some point anyway... even the ones in this mod, so those 2 shouldn't really even be used together...

Seems like having a collection of all these weapons would be worthy of a prize :P Maybe add sickles? Sais? Pikes? Poisoned daggers? A frying pan?(Most deadly of the bunch :3)

Fixed: Now "Bloody knife" has the propper texture again

The only problem is crafting it...

If it's made out of player bones, then people will just kill themselves twice, to get a pretty much free sword...

But if there's craftitem bones, that come with mobs_redo or something, then maybie those could be used in the recipe
