It possible get an image with certain position and rotation?

I found this: viewtopic.php?t=13970
and I checked the script, it about control player's position and rotation, that not what I want to do.

I want to get image data from certain position and rotation, which views by mob.

I check the API, https://minetest.gitlab.io/minetest/
just mechanism of game stuff. Does it means I need to deep in source code of Minetest to figured out how to achieved what I want?
