Hi, a few of you have been asking for a minetest port of the minecraft buildcraft mod.
So here it is:

BT Factory:
Quarries:
First, craft blue dye above mesecon torches to make landmarks.
Place a land mark, and then 2 more like so:

Then place a quarry next to the landmark in between the other two, like so (if you have done it right, the landmarks will pop off when you place the quarry):

Then connect a tube to the top, and power like so:

It looks pretty much like pipeworks (https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?id=2155). Maybe the two mods could be merged together?

Go over to the buildcraft wiki and have a look at it. Compare it to pipeworks. In here pumps work automatically.

What I meant was that both mods could perhaps be merged together, to get the best of each one...

Hmm. I was thinking about a adapter pipe - send something into it and it sends it out in the other "format". But merging them could be quite hard work. And buildtest is/should be a "carbon copy" of buildcraft.

code seems quite interesting but the mod is rather in non usable state yet.
lotsa unknown nodes etc

anyway, have you considered joinin technic team?

Some things do not have textures (Liquid pump and Auto Crafting Table) but if there are any actual unknown nodes then please tell me the names.

Hello
There is an incompability witj your mod.
verytime I enable buildtest, mobf_settings stops working.
The formspec starts normaly but tha tabs could not be changed anymore.
could you fix this please?

As you can see I´ve only put a minimum for testing active.
I´ve set the debug level to 4 and started from the Terminal but nothings in the debug.txt or on the Terminal.

Not world.mt, but could you please tell me what mods you installed. (If you have forgotten, just tell me the contents of the mode folder, or wherever you but the mod folder you downloaded.)

I don't know if this is the problem you experience and how to explain it properly, but in general the tabs in the formspecs don't work/can't be pressed when there's text running through/over them. One solution can be pressing F11 for a large screen, which sometimes makes space between the text and the tabs. Another one is to adjust the place of the tab in the formspec's code.

Hello
The world.mt represents exactly the contents of the mod folder because it is created and updated automaticaly if you push the configuration Button.
space and such things could not be the thing because there is no change between with and without your mod, at least I dont see any.
The only thing is if I enable Buildtest I can not open other Tabs as the one which is displayed initialy. If I disable Buildtest It works completely normal again.

Hello
It is me again, you put me to the right spot.
It was the overlaying errormessages from the ingame Terminal.
Closed it (F2) and Mobf_settings worked normal again.
but Since the error messages are about buildtest there is a problem at all but not as big as an incompatibility.
There only are three Files missing.
buildtest_pipe_gate_2.png
buildtest_pipe_stripe.png
buildtest_pipe_mese.png
Ive changed the depends.txt so that it loads pipeworks before buildtest but that didn´t help
I looked into the subfolders of your mob but there aren´ that files.
How do I get get them?

That's a problem all larger formspecs share. You often have to press F2 to disable chat messages in order to operate the formspec. Don't forget to press F2 again to get the chat messages again!
A few warning messages are usually no serious problem.

I have discovered a very spammy error message with Buildtest, I made a screenshot of it and tracked down the possible cause.

As you can see in the image the error message spammed is

ERROR[ServerThread]: Map::setNode(): Not allowing to place CONTENT_IGNORE while trying to replace "default:lava_source" at (xx,xx,xx) (block (xx,xx,xx))
, I have tracked the possible cause to line 62 in the pump.lua file.

That last section of the code doesn't seem to do much for me at this moment, so for now I just commented it out until a better fix can be made.
